UMS' Discovery and Adventure Camps
UMS is offering our Discovery camp for Casa (3-5 years old) and Adventure Camp for Grades 1-3 (6-8 years old) this year, Campers are divided into age-appropriate cohorts, supervised by a qualified childcare worker and an assistant. Each camp week features: games, arts & crafts, outdoor & indoor physical activiity, special visitors & events (if Covid-19 protocols allow), trail adventures, water fun days, music rhymes, puzzles, stories and much, much more! Campers will be emailed a detailed week schedule and all the informtion to make their week a success prior to the start of camp in July.

Week 1Wacky WeekJuly 4th - 8th
Anything goes during this week of wild wackiness! Campers will do wacky hair, create wacky art, play wacky games ... and the list goes on! You never know what to expect next, but we can tell you it will be fun and frantic!

Week 2Myth, Legends and Other Tall TalesJuly 11th - 15th
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to jump into the pages of your favourite book? Campers will be immersed in the worlds of myths, legends and fairy tales where they will get to meet some of their favourite characters, creatures, stories, and places. Are you brave enough to come face-to-face with a fire-breathing dragon and other legendary creatures? Find out this week of Camp!

Week 3Disney DelightJuly 18th - 22nd
Walt Disney created a magical world filled with princesses, villains, animals, dwarves, dragons and castles. This week at camp, campers will have the chance to travel into Walt’s agical world and enjoy meeting the characters, singing the songs, and listening to stories that are loved by millions worldwide. Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho, it’s off to camp we go!

Week 4World of WondersJuly 25th - 29th
Do you love adventure and seeing new places? Hop on board the UMS express and travel the globe to sample the food, clothing, flags, games, traditions, songs, and stories from countries around the world. Grab your passport, put on your backpack, and get ready for an exciting journey

Week 5Holidays with a TwistAugust 2nd - 5th
Christmas with sunscreen? Halloween costume in the sunshine? Although families already celebrated special holidays this year, it was so much fun, we decided to do it again! Come out to this camp and celebrate mixed-up and zany versions of Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s each day of the week. Who knows... Maybe you’ll catch Santa in his swimsuit!

Week 6Long, Long, AgoAugust 8th - 12th
Do you want to travel through time? Your camp leader will take control of the UMS time machine and there is no knowing where or when you might end up! Will it be when dinosaurs ruled the land, or when knights battled dragons? Perhaps it will be when pyramids rose from the sands of the deserts? Sign up for this week and get ready for lots of surprises and adventure!

Week 7Creepy Crawly and Slithery StuffAugust 15th - 19th
Got your attention? Do you love bugs, insects and all things reptile and amphibian? Then sign up for this week of camp now! Spend the week being a zoologist in search of everything that creeps, crawls, slithers and spins...right in your own backyard. String together your net, strap on your binoculars and don’t forget your trail boots to head out for a spinetingling journey. And in case that’s not creepy enough for you... back in the lab, you’ll mix up some slime to enjoy at home.

Week 8Movin' and Groovin'August 22nd - 26th
Get into your groove and ready to move this week at camp! The week will feature lots of moving and grooving fun as campers participate in a variety of sports, arts and outdoor games that will give your body a fun, fast-moving challenge. Get up, get going, and get ready to shake, laugh and have a ton of fun!

Uxbridge English As a Second Language (ESL) Program
- English Language
- Certified teachers, low teacher-student ratios
- Formal assessment / Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced Grouping
- Written grammar, spelling, sentence structure
- Oral vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation skills
- Morning (9:00 - 11:30 am) and afternoon (1:00 - 3:30 pm)
- No extra charge for early drop-off or late pick-up (7:00 am - 6:00 pm)
